Negative Thinking | Weight Loss Coach and Nutritionist

Mistake #1 Negative Thoughts

With negative thoughts, you think things like, weight loss is soooo exhausting, healthy food does not taste good, how can I exercise after a long day when I'm so tired. It doesn't work this way, you have to start your new diet before you talk badly about it; then you have to show some perseverance and not immediately abort everything. There are no fast results, good results require time, no stinking thinking allowed.

Fat Free - low fat foods | Weight Loss Coach and Nutritionist

Mistake #2 Eating Light

Are you only eating light products? You cannot remove all the fat from your diet completely, good fats are an important food for your brain and hormones. Light products lack this fat which is then replaced by many harmful sugars so they have some taste. In addition, these light products do not satisfy your hunger which is why you need to eat more to achieve that feeling of satiety this is a vicious cycle.

Healthy Foods - Torture | Weight Loss Coach and Nutritionist

Mistake #3 Torture

Do you think healthy foods are torture? When you eat them do you say things like, I'm dieting I cannot eat that. If you torture yourself too much and think about what you are not allowed to eat the diet will not be a success. If you want some chocolate you do not need to buy the entire store mind you but here and there a piece of dark chocolate is even healthy. I always tell my clients, to eat well 80% of the time and then you can eat less healthy foods 20% of the time and still get great results. Enjoying less healthy foods are allowed in moderation and is a good precaution against sudden food cravings and the yo-yo effect.

Fruit Smoothie | Weight Loss Coach and Nutritionist

Mistake #4 Hidden Sugar

You think you're doing something good for your health with a smoothie drink but you should avoid that diet smoothie from the supermarket because they're real sugar bombs. Even if it is fruit sugar it can be quite dangerous if you drink too much of it. Have a green smoothie instead which contains a large portion of vegetables and a little bit of fruit. This will still taste great but you'll have half the amount of sugar and it's also better when you make it yourself.

Patience Weight Loss Coach and Nutritionist

Mistake #5 Patience

You do not give your body any time to adjust. Do not give up immediately if you think you can never get used to living healthier. It takes a few days or a week before your body can adjust to the new changes you're making. You must not give up too soon, just focus on taking consistent action and before you know it your patience will pay off!

Weighing Too Often Weight Loss Coach and Nutritionist

Mistake #6 Weighing Yourself Daily

You put yourself under pressure and expect too much at once. I did not have dinner today why did I not lose weight? Does this sound familiar to you? Do not be too hard on yourself and do not expect great success overnight. A diet cannot change everything a week before the beach holidays. When the weight loss phase has begun you should not weigh yourself everyday as that can only demotivate you. Weigh yourself on the scale maybe once a week or once every 3 to 4 weeks. During the time in between you can use a tape measure instead to track your inches that are lost.

These are the six mistakes that I would like you to consider and make sure that you're not making them. Just keep in mind that all new change will require some work and it can be a pleasant experience if you avoid the 6 mistakes. You can do it and I'll see you in the next video.
