By the age of 21, I lost both parents to disease, my dad to a stroke by the age of 14 and my mom to diabetes and colon cancer by the time I was 21. I was frustrated and almost ignorant of the diseases that took my parents away however this frustration and lack of ignorance fueled my studies for health and fitness.
I started off in the health industry as a personal trainer and became very successful. I even had other trainers working for me and combined we completed over 150, 000 client sessions.
Even though I was having much success I was ashamed of my appearance because I got so busy helping clients that I neglected myself.
I found myself at my HEAVIEST.
As a result, I found myself at 215 lbs at my heaviest. I couldn't believe I had let myself get that bad. But I felt like I deserved to eat whatever I wanted for all of my hard work. :-)
Until I decided, I couldn't take it anymore, and I HAD to find the answer. I couldn't be an overweight Personal Trainer! I HAD to lose weight, and set a good example for my clients…
Once I found out the proper way to do this without going on a crash diet and driving myself up the wall, it was like I had found freedom.
